读phd, 我现在有两个方向要选择:Human Computer Interaction 和 Communication
networks. 不知哪个方向更promising, 我这两个方向都是外行,因为我本来是学computer
science的,对数据库更熟一些, 但又不愿离开现在的城市,所以只能将就着从这两个方向
中选一.HCI的学校排名好一些.多谢大家指点.

HCI is hot and better for job seeking.
But maybe not so good for PhD. (Not sure, never seen one.)
Too many people in the area of networks, all directions of network.
So although it is hot, not so easy to find a job.
And it all depends on your background.
