Dear all, I just finished my Master Degree in China. My major is Economics. I
am now admitted to Purdue, Penn State and Michigan State.
I can not decide which one to choose. Can anyone give me some advice?

i myself prefer Penn State

I don't feel any difference. All are typical college town and the ranking for
economics is around 30.
I would rather throw the dart or pick the one with the highest assistance, or
if you plan to transfer program, choose the one with that program.
One more important factor, though, is that many mid-west schools offer in-state
tuition for your spouse if you are a graduate assistant. Check if you have that
need.

Agree. MSU is poor, and I heard that you have to pay about 600$ tuition per
semester. Pudue would be the best choise because living cost there is pretty
low.

如果没有配偶问题的话，我个人倾向于PSU。因为它离东部的几个大城市近一些，将
来工作机会多。

Last year, one graduate from Penn State went to Harvard, one Chineses went to
Cornell. The year before last, one graduate went to MIT.
Penn State is considered up-rising by a lot of people.

PSU for sure.
PSU and MSU are not in the same level.
However, PSU and purdue are almost the same level.
But PSU has better reputation.
