I have been browsing Apple.com quite often recently. Each time my IE blocks
some add on that Apple tries to run. I have never looked at the details.
Today I accidentally chose to unblock this. Ever since, visiting apple.com
has become a nightmare. Whatever on apple.com I click, my browser just holds
up quite for a while. No problem with any other website. Any idea what
apple.com did? Thanks.

There are two types of retirement accounts:
1. employer sponsored, eg. 401k, 403b, etc
2. individual plans, eg. IRA, Roth IRA, etc
Generally, retirement accounts have 2 of the 3 tax benefits:
a. pre-tax (or tax deductible),
b. tax-deferred,
c. and tax-advantage access.
401k and IRA have the benefits of a and b.

apple.com only use Quicktime as plug in. and that only loads when you try to
open a video. there is no other plugins on apple.com. not even flash.

在我的aspireone上vista开关机太慢win7就快多了。XP写SSD盘的时候经常要等上一会
儿。至于一般上网写文章等应用win7,vista和xp速度上基本没有能够感觉到的差别。

其实只要不差在一个数量级内，快点慢点越来越不重要了。
Windows 7出来了，我准备升级到Vista了。Windows的东西一般要SP几次就比较稳定了。

Vista用在笔记本上其实很不错的。
Vista刚出来那会不顺，主要是XP做得太好了。另外64bit软件少也是问题。
Vista还是有些有点的。硬件支持好了，64-bit的话XP没有support了。集成了media
center也是很不错的。有些细节的地方使起来能体会到，比如文件排序的时候，比xp进
步了不少。

运行程序的区别大家可能不太在乎或者认为是硬件的问题，但是开关机时间的区别大家
就很看中了。windows 7是基于vista的内核微软自己承认了的。可能微软就是修改了开
关机的部分，大家就都开心了：）——
