最近我为母亲延期申请第二次后（Note：母亲已延期了6 个月），被要求补充材料。
询问各位大侠如何有效地补充材料并获得延期批准。
The reply from USCIS is
1) Your application lacks documentation regarding eligibility
requirements to establish that you qualify for the benefit you are
requesting. In order to process your application, additional evidence is
needed.
2) USCIS records indicate that you were previously granted an extension
of stay and are now requesting additional time to complete your visit. To
warrant an extension beyond the usual limits, you must establish that there
is good reason for your request.
3) Regulations require that a visitor for business (b-1) or pleasure (B-2
) must establish that he or she has a residence abroad which he or she has
no intention of abandoning. Submit documentation to establish that you have
a foreign residence where you intend to reside at the expiration of your B-1
or B-2 visa. Such documentary evidence includes current telephone bills,
current utility bills, current mortgage statements, current rental
agreements, current rent receipt, etc.
4) Submit a statement in which you describe your intention concerning
departure from the United States.
紧急请教三个问题：
1) Have you recently succeeded in this kind of second B-2 visa extension?
Any particular experience to share which I have not thought about.
2) How to present this documentation in the most convincing fashion? e.g. Is
translation of telephone bills, 房产证， utility bill required? If yes,
shall I find a company to translate and notarize the document or I simply
just translate/explain the documentation, as I know both English and Chinese
, then sign and notarize an affidavit that the document translation is
credible. If I have to find a company to do this job, how can I evaluate
their credential recognized by USCIS to do this job?
3) How to present an effective statement in which I can describe my mom’s
intention concerning departure from the United States? Please advise any
other evidences we can present together beside what we have thought below?
a) Family photos of mom and other daughters in China and suggest there is a
strong family tie there b) buy a return air ticket in 4 months and use to
suggest the strong intention of departure soon.
