if you have a sump pit, it is a good idea to have a battery powered backup
pump. It costs 200 dollars but can save you lots of headache.
it can help if
1. there is power outage, which is possible if there is a thunder storm when
you need pump the most
2. there is lots of rain and it overwhelms your main pump
3. main pump just failed
don't wait until you got water in the basement to think about backup.

的阿斗，可事实真的是这样的吗？
先说说刘禅当时的处境，国破蜀亡，孤身入晋。在此情况下，一个前蜀国的君主，首先
面对的是保住性命的问题。因此当晋帝演奏蜀国乐曲的时候，刘禅如果稍微露出一点对
故国的思念，估计晋帝肯定会觉得他是个危险人物，那么刘禅的性命也就不一定保得住
了。因此，刘禅只有表示在晋国住的很好，一点也不思念蜀国，才能让晋国的皇帝放心
，从而让自己活下去。
所以，我认为刘禅的做法是正确的，不仅正确，而且非常的英明。如果命都没有了，还
谈什么其他的。可惜当时的人们不能明白帝王的心思，体会不到刘禅的苦心，反而将他
叫做扶不起的阿斗。说起来，刘禅还真是挺冤的。
综上所述，刘禅的做法，不失为一个英明的决定。而能够做出这样英明决定的君王，相
信也一定不是一个平庸的人，正是由于刘禅的出色的保命手段，才有了后来的安乐生活
。因此，刘禅也不失为一个英明的君王。

comcast的cable high speed internet
最近老是是不是就断线几秒，然后自己又连上了
cable modem的灯都亮着
不过要是一直ping的话，时不时就有几个packet丢了，request timed out
别人有类似情况吗，知道是怎么回事吗

A backup generator is a better choice if you can afford it.
