The sky won't fall if you do so but it is better for you to wait until the
carpet is dry.
Depend on which cleaning fluid you use. I have used both Rug doctor's
cleaning fluid and PineSol (which I highly recommend because it is much
cheaper), neither produce big smell. But that could be dependent on
different persons because some people are more sensitive.

如果只过一遍的话，很快就干了。
至少要开风扇。
不过我洗一遍，再用清水过一遍。
家具放回原位的话，垫一下锡箔纸。
味道不算大。
有 spot treatment， 还有 pretreatment 的，脏一些的地方可以先喷一些。
