Short Sale我的客人一般出价比Listing Price低3%-5%。当然Short Sale本身的成功率 就不是很好,所以不要期望太高了。

when I made my offer, I offered 5K more. Later we learned there were 6 offers, 4 of full price, and 2 of 5K more, and the seller took mine

the key for short sale offer is to find out how much the current owner is owning and how many lien holders involved. if there are more than one lien holders, simply forget about it. typically the lien hold will consider offers no less than 80% of what is owning. less than that, the lien holder will more likely to foreclose the property. good luck.
