在准备RFE推荐信，针对letters and testimonies, if submitted, must provide in
detail, how the contribution was "original" (not merely replicating the work
of others)
大家是怎么准备这个original的啊？只有一句两句话说明自己研究成果是original好像
不是in detail吧？
大家对这个推荐信里面要有的detailed orginal 怎么说明的啊？

Original means that you have found something that has added new knowledge to
the field.
So in the letter, you can say in your field, your research finding is
original, because you have found something other people were unable to find,
and this finding is very important. Then discuss in details why your
research is important, what your research method is and what you have found.
Additional, you should discuss the contribution of your research, for
example, discuss who (better to the recommenders) have used your research
findings to improve their work.

So in the letter, you can say in your field, your research finding is
