就是在ACS上发了几篇paper，审了十来篇稿，没想到收到这个东西
应该不算什么牛的东西，不过上边确实有个as a small token的字眼，能拿来加强点

不知道。我也收到了一个，应该是只要给ACS 审过稿的人都有一个吧。我只给他们审了
一个稿，没在他们的下面的任何刊物上发过文章。
我觉得你可以放进去，适当吹一下，但是把握好度，别吹的太过，应该没问题吧。

原话是as a small token of our appreciation, we have enclosed a certificate.....这个估计跟contribution一点关系也
没有啊。 我感觉acs搞这个跟发广告差不多。

Just my guess:
If there are many applicants including this in their petition, then it will
be bad for you. However, if you are the first one to use it, then it may be
very helpful.
I think the bottom line is to persuade the IO that you are a rare commodity,
not just another researcher who has a PhD.
