"Was just notified that Citi closed ALL my CC accounts. I've been a customer
for many years and have some of my oldest cards with them. They can only
tell me that it was for "security reasons" and that the decision is "non-
negotiable." The rest of the info, they say, will be sent to me within 7 to
10 business days. Has anyone had this before? Is Citi taking a page out of
Chase's book?"

EB1b 485 pending中，有可能坚持不到180天就没工作了。
原来申请的NIW刚刚curent，有必要重新file一个NIW的485吗？
或者把EB1b的485 relink到NIW上，行不行？

I don't know the solution, but here's a concern.
"原来申请的NIW刚刚curent", which means that your PD is perhaps relatively
recent. The EB2 visa bulletin could retract to some earlier date, then its
485 may be put on hold, although I don't wish so.
"EB1b 485 pending." nowadays the 485 may be approved in 3-4 months, less
than 180 days. Relink may send a signal to the USCIS that your EB1B case has
some issues.
However, it's all up to you what you want to do.

你说的Relink may send a signal to the USCIS that your EB1B case has
some issues.这我原来倒是没想到。
我说的这个case，NIW的PD在2009年中，我猜想下个月排期即使倒退应该也不会退到那
时候。这个过几天就能知道结果了。
之所以想relink NIW和EB1b 485主要是因为那个180天的规定。EB1b 485也等了4个月了
，眼看要丢工作，如果熬不到180天工作丢了，即使485没有rfe，也拿到绿卡了，这心
里也不踏实。按其它帖子说的，不知道什么时候绿卡就被收回去了。

多半是因为AA Excutive拿到里程立马就关卡，Citi损失十万里程加200元，不关他关谁
？

hehe, I see. A PD in 2009 sounds safe enough.
I do think that you can file for a second 485, but I just don't see the
imminent need yet.
I think that it's okay to change jobs right after you get your green card,
especially if it's because of the employer, but not because of you. There's
no reason to revoke it at all.
Also, if you are truly worried about this EB1B 485, you can file an NIW 485
as late as possible, when you are clearer about your job situation. Maybe
nothing will happen after all.

Eb1B可能不到3个月就批了，找老板，拖也要拖够三个月。

Just got done with a call to cancel one of my cards, which was my 2nd 100k
card where the 1st one was cancelled a couple months ago. Was transferred to
a account specialist who asked me the reason for wanting to close the
account and my answer was "I dont expect to travel on AA much and the annual
fee of $450 is too much". She came back with, "Why did you apply for the
card when you knew about the annual fee". I gave vague answers a few times
such as "I thought I would travel more on AA then but now see I wont, blah
blah".
She was pointing out about the bonus received and the $200 in statement
credits and offered incentives to keep the card open, which I declined. She
finally ended the call with a sarcastic statement, "The card is closed and $
450 being refunded, and you just made 100k AA miles and $200 from us,
congratulations" before hanging up.
First time I was questioned this much for closing a citi card and tried to
be made guilty for taking the benefits. The CSR didnt see though that I just
2 days ago applied for a 3rd 100k card thats approved and am waiting for in
the mail"

这就是真正原因。一毛不拔没有好下场。
这个卡citi批的这么爽快就是因为可以收到450年费，他们的Benefit/Risk analysis就
会得出低risk，高benefit的结果，所以批卡没商量。一旦不让它挣这450，Risk变的无
限大，关所有卡没商量。
给它交些年费，允许再多申一张，所有的年费投入就都回来了。
我的卡虽然不用，也没有cancel，准备付1年年费，过1年转Dividend。

kathylee，PAYCHECK一分为三是怎么回事？一个paycheck分成三个，按三个时间发？以
前倒是弄过把一个paycheck分到不同的bank accounts，但是都是同一时间发的。

为什么要过一年转？早点咳嗽也没问题，反正不想退年费就不会踩到CITI的痛处，现在
好几张AA，大部分人肯定一张都不会留的，与其到明年一起咳嗽让CITI怒了，还不如几

有个问题，那些拿完bonus就关卡的是一个月就完成1万消费吗？
Citi不是有30天内推年费的规定？
