I just heard back from the Senator's reply:
Fingerprints clearance and FBI name check are current and visa is available,
however the I 485 was filed 02/06/12 and currently, we are processing
adjudication ready I 485’s which were filed 11/01/11.
Does anyone know if fingerprint clearance the same as background check?
If yes, that means background check is done.
Background:
EB1a (approved in March) interfiled with 485(NIW) filed in Feb.2012 at TSC
