知道此版是藏龙卧虎之地，所以在此求教。
感恩节之前收到Apple和Twitter的口头通知进入offer阶段，还没有任何具体信息。
Apple是在iTune大组，和search相关，优点是用的open source tools都是在哪都很有
用的，做的方向也是自己比较感兴趣的，而且从很多opening job descriptions上感觉
上Apple有意愿改进相关的infrastructure，可能是一个练身手的好机会，最大的优点
是离家很近；缺点是中老板（senior manager)是个印度人，感觉比较强势（但很好学
，也鼓励手下人自学提高），手下另一个组有其在以前公司的员工，面试感觉水平很一
般，怀疑有裙带倾向，这个小组的manager待诏，是一个很大的不确定因素，最怕他裙
带进来一个八字不和的印度小老板。另外Apple的culture和work-life-balance也是负
面因素，只是不知道有多严重。
Twitter的是search或revenue大组，具体hiring team和manager信息尚不知道，但就面
试的感觉，大部分都较年轻，都很nice，问的问题也都中规中矩。Revenue大组感觉老
中挺多，人也都很好，尤其是面我的manager,知道我感冒咳嗽还没好，提前结束和他的
面试，让我多休息一会儿，还建议我去medical cabinet找咳嗽药，很是让我感动。我
比较倾向于做search，因为从我读的一些文章感觉Twitter这方面有一些牛人，还有的
是一些open source tools的committers，能学比较前沿的知识。但最大的缺点是离家
有点太远，一天的有2.5-3个小时在路上。以前以为可以在Sunnyvale的分部上班，但是
好像不行，那只是一个remote work location,大部分时间还是要去SF城里。另外对具
体的hiring team和manager都还不知道。
想请教对Apple或Twitter这两个公司（如果对部门了解更好了）的牛人，希望自己能做
出一个正确的选择。谢谢了！

看起来apple除了离家近没有任何一点优于T，package如何？应该也是T好一些吧，如果
是的话我觉得应该去T

我也觉得路上commute的时间有点过长。请问gate老兄是坐Caltrain还是坐Twitter的班
车？Caltrain稳一些看书写code方便，但是路上时间相对班车更长吧？

，一天除了吃喝拉撒睡上班看小孩就没什么时间了，再花4个小时在路上。。。

Itunes的search前途多光明啊。以后就是App的天下。。。。
而且itunes的search以及recommendation system现阶段做得不好，上升空间很大。
有了这些经验，以后在其他的部门，比如google play和amazon app store都有用武之
地。
要我就选这个。
当然twitter那个机会也很好。

career还是比较重要吧，交通的话班车或者caltrain都可以，除非已经考虑退休了，不
用考虑career了。而且A据说还是挺累的，当然T不少组也不轻松。

不牛。非CS自学成才起步阶段而已。
英雄所见略同。这些也是最吸引人的地方。你对Apple很了解么，是不是在Apple高就？
我担心Apple的主要是一：和老印老板八字不和（好坏印度老板都见过，不过这个性格
非主流，不好预测）；二：公司前景不明朗，iPhone/iPad market share 都在下滑，
就怕走当年Jobs第一次出走之后的老路。但是Cooks说有“new product category in
the work”（iTV?),所以正反两方面都有可能，也不确定，不太好预测。

说的是，可是我家庭情况比较特殊，所以commute时间太长会是一个较大的负担。

经过艰难抉择，最后决定去Twitter。以后有时间和大家分享经验。先睡了。

Itunes的search前途多光明啊。以后就是App的天下。。。。
而且itunes的search以及recommendation system现阶段做得不好，上升空间很大。
有了这些经验，以后在其他的部门，比如google play和amazon app store都有用武之
地。
要我就选这个。
当然twitter那个机会也很好。

career还是比较重要吧，交通的话班车或者caltrain都可以，除非已经考虑退休了，不
用考虑career了。而且A据说还是挺累的，当然T不少组也不轻松。

不牛。非CS自学成才起步阶段而已。
英雄所见略同。这些也是最吸引人的地方。你对Apple很了解么，是不是在Apple高就？
我担心Apple的主要是一：和老印老板八字不和（好坏印度老板都见过，不过这个性格
非主流，不好预测）；二：公司前景不明朗，iPhone/iPad market share 都在下滑，
就怕走当年Jobs第一次出走之后的老路。但是Cooks说有“new product category in
the work”（iTV?),所以正反两方面都有可能，也不确定，不太好预测。

说的是，可是我家庭情况比较特殊，所以commute时间太长会是一个较大的负担。
