刚才看到PIONY报绿的帖子，说他的卡140 rfe一通过已经card production了，
是不是485提交了以后，不管140怎么样，都会启动name check,体检，指纹等等，这样
如果140被rfe，潜在的是节省了485的申请时间，是不是可以这样理解？

是，但坏处就是140拒了485也跟着废了

是的，节省时间。如果140悲剧，只是浪费了485的美刀！

Actually, you can get the EAD card before your I-140 approval. But it is
only safe to use EAD if you are not the main applicant.

Suppose the husband is on H1B and files I140 (EB1B) and 485 together. Then
the wife can get EAD before I140 is approved. In the case of I140 was not
approved, the wife can still transfer to H4?
