Studies’ (CIS) annual “Immigration Newsmakers” event.
Founded by John Tanton, a member of the white nationalist movement who

DailyBeast这种liberal媒体，一贯善于移花接木、断章取义。比如这个：
Founded by John Tanton, a member of the white nationalist movement who
believes maintaining an American culture requires “a European-American
majority,”。
原话是这么说的：
"I've come to the point of view that for European-American society and
culture to persist requires a European-American majority, and a clear one at
that."
– Dec. 10, 1993, letter to the late Garrett Hardin, a controversial ecology
professor.
原话说的是European-American society and culture，被DailyBeast一裁剪，就成了
American culture。如果说要维持Chinese-American society and culture,要以
Chinese-American为主，没啥问题吧。
我是看到这个新闻才第一次知道John Tanton这号人，也不想为他辩护，但是看到这种
liberal媒体，我是习惯的想到这里面有私货，果不出所料。
文章把Center for Immigration Studies描述成一个反移民的组织，然后引用该组织反
对*非法*移民的声明，一贯的liberal媒体作风。至于把Center for Immigration
Studies定性成hate group的，也是一个叫SPLC的组织，这种不同组织之间互相攻击的
言辞都是为自己的agenda服务的，拿它当真就幼稚了。
