What is the difference between these two:
"I am perplexed."
"I am puzzled."
If you don't know the answer, are you "perplexed" or "puzzled"?

同样的无线网
xp系统的机器都可以正常用，而Vista系统的都是DNS cannot resolve IP address的错
误。
大家有否碰到这个问题，如何解决？

Interesting. I think "confused" is closer to "puzzled" than to
"perplexed".

are they synonyms? I never used "perplexed". I cannot tell the difference.
From the dictionary, "perplexed" seems more often used in the situation of a
dilemma; while "puzzled" is frequently used in a puzzle :P
then what part of "confused" differs from "puzzled"??

puzzle perplex confuse bewilder
都含"使困惑不解"的意思。
puzzle 指"情况错宗复杂，因而使人感到困惑不解"，如：
What he did puzzled me greatly.
他的作为使我深感迷惑不解。
perplex 较正式，除含有puzzle 的意思外，还侧重"心情的困惑和行动的不决，
不知如何办"，如：
His face was perplexed；
he went away.他的脸色看起来茫然，然后就走了。
confuse 指"把事物混淆或弄乱"或"由于混淆、混乱而糊涂"，语气较弱，常指暂
时现象，如：
They asked me so many questions that they confused me.
他们问了我那么多的问题都把我搞迷糊了。
bewilder 指"由于迷惑不解或惊愕而慌乱、糊涂和不知所措"，语气比前两个词都
强，如：

两个是同意词么
很少听人说
i am confused到很常见

"Perplexed" has the added meaning of not knowing what to do, how to solve,
fix, correct, ... the problem or issue. "Puzzled" only means that
something isn't clear, without implying anything about the resolution or
course of action.
I would be perplexed about about mind-boggling puzzle that I can't solve.
(This is weird, isn't it? Shouldn't I be puzzled about a puzzle?)
Google used to put strange ads on the subways in Boston/Cambridge. These
ads did not identify Google, and only showed strange
