Another ftp problem behind router# Internet - 有缘千里一线牵

My company is using a simple packet filtering router to secure our LAN.
The problem is I can not use ftp client (like wsftp) to transfer files from
school. Actually, if the ftp sever doesn't need a password, then it is OK.
If it does need a password, it always says my password is wrong!
I already ask our network administrator to open the inbound ports above 1024
and
outbound ports are already open. But it is still not working.
P.S. I alreay choose passive mode.
