等着让java更快，呵呵，估计不现实吧。
cheaper/faster/better, you can just get 2 out of the 3. Java is better,
development wise is cheaper, but not faster...

I think hotspot in server VM makes it pretty close.

Java 好像也不是异常地慢，但是占内存实在没有道理地大。

gcj编出来的绝大多数更慢些。占更多内存。

JVMs with JIT compiler generate some native code at runtime to replace a
portion of byte code interpretations.

The thing with jit is it by design only optimizes code
that it has seen executed repeatedly. So jit means a lot
for server apps, but isn't really that big of a helper
on desktops.
