All I need are syntax highlighting, error detection and code formatting.
xml author does the job but I hate it sorts my attributes.
Can I not let it sort atttributes? Or any other editor to recommend?

XMLBuddy. It's free, very easy to use.

I use it, too. Very nice plugin. Just the free version
suffices unless you are an XML freak. 8-)

cool, i will try it out. Lastest XMLBuddy free edition is buggy for Eclipse
3.1 for me(older version is fine, but couldn't find it any more), is
working with it using Textpad for a while :(

XMLBuddy is working fine with 3.1 for me. :-)

hmm, odd. I couldn't use it to open some XML files.
