那有什么办法不revoke呢？就是公司不上报移民局？

其实这种事是没有意义的.公司一旦把你解雇了,你的h1就自动终止了,并不需要移民局
批才终止的,所以公司也不是必须上报的.只不过,如果不报的话,下次你申请h1的有可能
就模糊过这段经历.

我其实想问的不是终止，终止是一定的。
就是听说revoke就是这个quota都没有了，以后还要重新申请h1b，要等10月1才能工作
。是这样的

no, that's absolutely wrong. As long as one has been counted towards quota
in the last 6 years, that person is not subject to quota when applying for
new h1. This has nothing to do with whether the old h1 has been revoked.

But still, instead of transfering the new firm will have to apply for h1b
right? it's just that this can be done any time of the year, not limited
to start on the 1st of Oct.?

you are both right an wrong. There is no such thing as "h1 transfer". The
new firm would always need to apply a new H1 for you. People say "transfer"
only because there is no quota problem involved.
This is the exactly same case as "transfer from one school to another".

留下那个童鞋解释的一点没错，名额你占住了。就是在当前的H1B REVOKED以后，你得
转身份，B2?F2/H2? 等找到工作后，新公司帮你申请H1B,占用老名额，转成之后立即工
作，不用等到OCT.1.
