provides portal site for near-real-time about market colour and these

trade information to end user.
We are building the next-generation portal and eTrading platform for Company
's Equities and Fixed Income business. We are building for massive scale and
demanding performance requirements so that we can meet tomorrow’s needs
seamlessly. We engineer for agility so that we can adopt cutting-edge new
technologies quickly and cost-effectively and help our business seize new
opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include, but not limited to the following
• Create clear, accurate and unambiguous technical documentation
including detailed test plans, test cases, testing procedures and test
results in accordance with company defined standards and methodologies.
• Execute test cases in a precise manner.
• Perform smoke tests, functional testing, GUI testing, backend
testing, performance testing and regression testing.
• Automate, execute and maintain regression test scripts using
Quick Test Professional.
• Identify, prioritize, track and report defects.
• Participate in the application development life cycle and drive
quality in the development process.
• Collaborate and partner closely with program managers,
development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure
requirements are gathered correctly and software is tested to highest
quality.

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience:
• At least 3 to 5 years QA experience testing web/portal
applications.
• Ability to write detailed test cases, test plans and thoroughly
document defects identified.
• Strong background in functional and regression testing for
enterprise web/portal applications following iterative and agile
methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of full software development and testing
lifecycle.
• Understanding of basic financial market concepts would be
advantageous.
Skills:
Technical:
• Experience with test automation tools, preferably Mercury’s
QTP
• Knowledge of Performance center / Load running.
• Tools: JIRA or other defect tracking tools (Quality Center)
• Intermediate level SQL skills
• Basic UNIX / Linux skills
Personal:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure during tight dead lines
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
Competencies
• Experienced in working on multiple releases in parallel
• Knowledgeable of Fixed Income products and trading and/or
brokerage business.
