Sorry for another post of old topic --- need to compare among T/L/G to make
a decision
me: female, with a family and a 6-year old
background: ms with quite some years of industry experience
goal: somewhat challenging work but no intention to be a director/CEO,
medium level leadership/intensity is what I want to target
package numbers: G < T (based on its 2nd market value now) ~= L
biggest cons:
G - too large, move-up is difficult (entering at a little lower level
than expected)
T - uncertainty, plus commute to SF is challenging (family around bay
area)
L - the team seems to a little too stressful/demanding (the expected
impact might be too big than what my head can offer :))
your thoughts (and supporting justifications) are greatly appreciated!
