我opt 8月初过期，现在单位给办h1b.不占名额的。问题是很有可能8月初批不了。我想
延期opt，但是单位说没必要。是真的吗？难道只要移民局收到h1b申请就行了？批不批
都能工作啊？谢谢。

但是non cap的H1B是大坑哦
你跳进去可是很难爬出来哦~
OPT有17个月你说不定可以明年4月抽签跳槽哦

不是一般批准都要3到6个月啊。怕到时候还没批准啊。

PP 的钱要自己出了。我不如OPT extension 了，这样花钱少些。刚跟HR的人说了OPT
EXTENSION，那人完全不懂这些。哎，在小单位真是令人头疼阿。

If you plan to jump out of the company next year and get regular-cap h1b,
then extend OPT.
Otherwise you can save the money and let they file H1b for you.

I don't have any plan to jump out of my current working unit. So OPT
extension is not necessary?
If I can not get the Cap exempt H1B by early Aug when my OPT expires, I am
not able to work, right?
