Got return package yesterday. I was rejected. The reason is that HR put a
intended start date earlier than Oct 1st (she put 9-1-13, as she did in LCA)
.
So.....I won the lottery, but lost H1B, in such way, so weird.
Don't think there is a chance to appeal since it's our mistake

It's rejected for this reason, I got a blue notification saying that.
Is there any possibility appeal the case?

这种脑残律师真是让人火大。
我单位的律师也是，第一次做h1b。之前也是写了10/1之前的日子，甚至连邮寄地址也
是错的（我不在加州，他错误地准备把材料寄给ca那个办公室）。还好约了见面，硬让
他改过来。
lz看看能不能appeal。实在不行只能用back up plan。
什么律师都是！

请问start date在10月1号前有什么不对吗？比如我同时申请了opt和h1b,10月1号前用
opt呢?

我也遇到一个特别特别黑心的律师
我交了律师费，然后发现这律师和他的助理说自己什么都不会
因为律师费交了，虽然除了给我看了一下职位title，什么都没做
居然还是收了我600快，特别黑心
我还拿他们没办法。。。。
这个人叫 Stanley Chao办公室在San Jose downtown
你们千万别跟这样的律师打交道！一定要 小心啊！
