Position Responsibilities
1. Forecast Development: support the generation of an unconstrained shipment
forecast for a rolling 18-24 month period for assigned customers/SKUs. The
forecast becomes the basis of the Consensus Demand Plan and will be used for
Production Plans and Financial projections. Ensure the timely hand-off of
these forecasts to supply planning using the appropriate systems/tools.
2. Support the development of statistical forecast models and tools
leveraging shipment history, POS, customer inventory, known promotional
activity and other causal variables.
3. Participate in monthly cross-functional Tactical Forecast Reviews.
4. Measure and track forecast accuracy and bias. Communicate findings and
recommended actions to the Tactical Forecast Review and Consensus teams.
5. Develop and manage key data that impacts the forecast. This may include:
historical data, customer and market analytics, new product projections,
promotion lifts, specific customer/channel trends, etc.
6. Support the Supply Planning Manager in developing long term capacity
plans by plant, follow up on product availability, and coordinate activities
between the Commercialization team and the plants.
7. Support activities (e.g. order generation, expediting) associated with
Contract Manufacturers, including co-packers.
8. Serve as a key analytics resource to the entire Corporate Supply Chain
team.

Indirect Reports: None
Minimum Requirements
Education Level Requirement:
• BA/BS required, concentration in Business, Logistics, or Supply
Chain preferred.
Experience Required:
• 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically: Demand/Supply
Planning and/or Forecasting
• Understanding of predictive modeling and analytics
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Management of multiple projects simultaneously, good organization
skills
• CPG experience a plus
