Our client has a total of 75 employees with 4-5 in the software development
area. This position will include a combination of R&D, new product
development and defining new markets that can benefit from their products.
Below is a brief job description.
Description/Job Summary Compensation $105-115K plus benefits, located in
western metro of Minneapolis.
Plan, analyze, and develop software for state of the art industrial computed
tomography and digital radiography systems. Define, develop and support
machine automation software including machine vision (ADR, pattern matching)
and robotic interfaces. Define, develop and support software interface to a
variety of camera types and formats. (Gig-E, Camera Link, LVDS)Investigate
new technologies and algorithms to improve software performance and to solve
complex tasks. Develop software simulations/models to assist in defining
software requirements and specifications.
Required Education:
PhD in Engineering required. PhD coursework in Geometric Foundations,
Digital Image Processing I, Digital Signal Processing required. Education
must have included graduate level research in image processing, signal
processing, software development (C++, C#), computer graphics and
visualization.
