Quantitative Developer
Position Description
Assignment type:
Part-time/Full-time/Contractor
Responsibilities:
This role will join the quantitative analysis/research team for variety of
projects. The work is data-oriented and quantitative in nature. Intensive
programming will be part of the daily work.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Develop analytical applications utilizing the firm's trading
strategies to identify trading opportunities.
2. Implement analytical modules covering risk management, derivative
pricing etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- BS/MS in Engineering in a quantitative discipline and
coursework in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, and/or Economics
- 1-2 years Java programming experience
- Experience in SQL query and database construction/maintenance
- Statistical Analysis experience in R language will be plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work
-environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic combined with
excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
