This is a challenging opportunity to join the Information Technology group
providing SQL development and application support for the billing systems.
In this role, you will also get exposure to multiple Management Reporting
Platform, (MRP) and other SQL applications. These include a financial data
repository and a decision support system. Prior work history must
demonstrate experience in understanding database business requirements,
configuration, and support of financial SQL applications.
Primary responsibilities
Design and develop new SQL Server Database Systems for Finance & Accounting,
Legal & Compliance, HR and other teams.
Maintain and provide back-up production support for existing financial SQL
databases
Design and implementation of automated validations from various source
systems based on record counts and sum totals
Maintenance and building of new interfaces to/from SQL databases
Work in a team environment and address “on call” situations such as system
unavailability, loss of functionality, or emergency break-fix scenarios.
Deliver a high level of client service and develop excellent user/technical
relationships. Interface with clients regarding support issues, enhancements
(including gathering requirements), and upgrades.
Write clear, concise technical documentation to accompany all application
development.
Communicate effectively with staff and colleagues on an individual, and in
group setting.
Apply fixes and patches when required
