1. Electrical Power Engineer
Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.
Conceptual design of high-voltage subsea power distribution systems
to support the overall design of
subsea process systems.
Good knowledge and experience in motor, control, power electronics,
transformer, switch gear, power
connectors, and power system analysis.
Hand on experience in electrical system design, schematic and
analysis with certain software
Knowledge and experience in Oil& Gas power application (especially
Subsea Power Applications),
would be plus. The areas include offshore power module, subsea power
equipments (transformer,
connectors, motor), and Subsea power system analysis.
Overall responsibility for the design of the high-voltage and high
power electrical distribution and long
distance transportation systems from topside power grid to the subsea
process station to operate pumps
and compressors
Interfaces with all other project disciplines in the department and
outside the department to accomplish
above objective: separation technology, pumps/motors, controls, systems
engineering, purchasing,
operations and installation engineering groups.
Interfaces with FMC Norway and FMC Brazil to coordinate FMC global
philosophy and technical
standards related to subsea separation technologies and process systems.
2. Subsea Process Engineer (7740)
PURPOSE:
• Responsible for subsea process systems definition of subsea
separation, pumping and boosting system.
• Good understanding of the application of different types of
separation technologies, subsea pumps, level and process control systems
• Be responsible resource for process design as part of subsea
processing team.
• Interfaces with all other project disciplines in the department and
outside the department to accomplish above objective: separation technology,
pumps/motors, controls, systems engineering, tree product group, purchasing
, operations and installation engineering groups.
• Interfaces with FMC Norway and CDS to coordinate FMC global
philosophy and technical standards related to subsea separation technologies
and process systems.
• Promotes approved FMC/CDS process system solutions within sales
presentations, FEEDs and projects.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
What are the minimum qualifications an employee must have in order to
perform the duties of the position? (I.e. educational requir
ements, licenses, certification, work experience, training etc.)
• BS in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
with 10+ years experience subsea or topside processing
• Good Communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Microsoft office (powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook Access is plus)
• Experience in using process simulators such as PVTSim, HYSYS are
required. Familiarity with PIPESIM, OLGA or equivalent are a plus.
3. Process Control Engineer
• Responsible for the definition of process control schemes on
subsea separation, compression and pumping projects.
• Good understanding of the application of different types of
separation technology, subsea pumps, and compressors.
• Good understanding of process instruments / controllers (level
controllers, PT sensors, pump monitoring / control systems and flowmeters
etc.) and process control valves.
• Experience of proposing and defining practical control schemes
for process plants.
• Ability to interface with subsea controls discipline to ensure
proper integration of process controls within overall subsea control system.
• BS Chemical Engineering or BS Instrument and Control Engineering
or equivalent with 5+ years experience of subsea or topside process controls
• Good Communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Microsoft office (powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook Access is plus)
• Experience in using process simulators such as HYSYS or Unisym
are required.
