如果不是很急，可以自己联系期刊主编，联系时附上你的Resume, 他们就会把你放入他
们的Reviewer List中。但有可能会过很长时间，他们才会给你文章审（我估计他们不
是故意的，而是没有找到合适的稿件让你审，但只要耐心等待，一定会等到的）。
如果特别着急，可以尝试以下方法：
1. 联系中国国内的中文期刊或者英文期刊，一般会很快就给稿件给你审。要知道，中
国期刊的审稿经历，申请绿卡也是管用的！
2. 自己老板如果是某个国际会议的session chair，你可以请他把会议文章直接给你审
。国际会议的审稿经历，也管用！
3. 跟自己老板说，自己急需审文章，让他收到某个审稿邀请后推辞说自己忙无法审，然后
向编辑推荐你来审。编辑就会给你发Review Invitation。一旦逮住这样的机会，你一
定要认真审，争取写出constructive comments, 打动编辑，编辑以后就会直接跟你联系，
经常给你审了。
申请绿卡的审稿这一项，其实应该及早动手,不要给人临时抱佛脚的感觉。最好是，从
审第一篇稿开始，到递交绿卡申请，中间有个2、3年的时间跨度，这样才能证明你确实
具备susta

I was sitting on E train heading Jamaica, Queens, with amedium-built African
American lady (A) sitting beside me a good distance away.
Passing Roosevelt Ave/Jackson Heights, all of sudden the train became very
crowded. A heavy-built African American lady (B) got on the train and
walked up to the space next to me and lady A. Then some hollering ensued….
(A): Excuse me, Ma’am! You are sitting on my lap!
(B): This seat is for three people. There’s a big space between you and
this gentleman.
(A): Ain’t for that butt! (pointing to her bottom).
….
