经过一个多月的日以继夜的准备，我可能下周就要交材料了。就等最后一封推荐信这个
周末回来。两个问题。
1）上周有篇NATURE子刊接受了，但是现在只有一封EDITOR的接受信。能放进AUTHORSHIP吗？放了怕惹麻烦，不放可惜啊
2）5封独立推荐信，是不是该留一个，以免RFE来不及。

独立推荐人不好找，还要RFE再找两个不容易。

我印象里你的background非常牛的，索性全放了一次过了了事嘛。
不过这样一来，你那pl就不算完稿，还得接着吹了。

I heard that a person purposely did not submit a ref letter from a big guy
in case of RFE. Later, he did get his RFE, and submitted that letter. But IO
denied that letter, because that letter was signed before he submit his 140

Has your friend got it approved? Did he get a second RFE?
I did see people on this board saying that they just told that reference
that there was some rule change, and they wanted a new signature, etc,
without telling the references anything about RFE. So this re-signing might
be needed, if there was an RFE.

So, was there much new stuff in his second application? If he submitted
everything the first time, would he feel that he could have been approved?
Of course I understand that luck is always a factor here.

and got approved without RFE.

Oh, I see. My lawyer always tells me that as long as we want to do it, do it
with all that we have. He doesn't want me to hold back anything, and I
agree with him.
Thanks for your update, and belated Cong to your friend, as well!
