收到benefit change的信，premier卡已然要垃圾
从10月19号开始
1.flight point match 没有了，换成 3X on dining and entertainment, 2X airfare
&hotel
2. 33% more value when redeem for airfare 变成 25% more value for airfare
redeem
3. 1.2 pt on everyday purchase 没有了，
4. Annual companion ticket和anniversary bonus没有了
就这破卡还要125年费，不是当客户是sb么？

本人EB1A I-140 被拒，现在Appeal中。之前递交了485，目前的状态是Pending。
据说Appeal等待的时间很长，请问在等待的这段时间我可以申请工卡和返乡证吗？

I'd assume yes.
The question is that if the 140 was rejected, then the EAD and AP would be
no longer valid, and you would be out of status immediately. Is it worth it?

本人H1B签证很快到期，而新工作还没找到，如果能申请的话，想用它保持一下身份。
听说Appeal要一年多的时间，希望在这段时间能再找到工作申请H1B.
不知有没有更好的建议？

appeal...
The success rate is extremely low, I heard it is about 10%. In my case, I
had several 1st author papers published in PRL and JACS, the top journals of
physics and chemistry, but my NIW was rejected. I chose to fight and filed
an appeal. I spent over 1500 dollars to do that, but after one year and
three months, I was told that the appeal was failed.
I was so angry to make such a decision, but I became to realize that
resubmission is probably the better way unless the PD is really important
for you.
You may consider to resubmit a new application. since you have almost all
the materials, why not just submit another one? it only costs you slightly
over 600 dollars and you can get an answer within several months, the worst.

Actually I heard a case like that:
NOID, instead of fighting with the IO, directly filed a new case with PP,
relinked to 485 after the new 140 approved.

我也知道这会拖很长时间，但是因为我目前的工作合同很快到期，所以想通过这种方式
争取点时间。等找到工作，有新的H1B后再考虑重递绿卡申请。

To refile another EB1a I-140+I-485+I-765 will have a better chance than
appeal your I-140.
Now old EB1A is in appeal, you might not be able to file a new EB1a. Some
people in similar case had their new I-140 got denied due to an apeal in the
same category(EB1A) is pending. Some people's new I-140 succeeded.

请教一下。既然旧的I140被拒绝，旧的485也应当失效，可为什么如果新的I140 被批
准却可以relink到失效的旧的485上面呢？
