Yes. It is valid for a year, from the time you do this to the time the IOs
process your 485, but not just your submission time.
So if you get it done, as soon as your 140 is approved, you can submit your
485. That's also a good way to save some time.
Have you PPed though? Otherwise the 140 processing time is random, and you
don't want this medical exam to expire before your 485 is processed. My
doctor said that some clients of hers had to re-do the medical exams due to
that.

Yes.
其实体检表里有个 Ａ＃，是从１４０批准件里来的，如果没有，有的医生不给做。不
过，大多没事。

if you think about the fact that a lot people submited their 140 and 485
concurrently, you will know it is ok to do the medical exam without a 140
approval.
I did the I693 without a I140 approval notice, the doctor don't care about
that. She probably don't even know what is I-140.

Disagree.
I think the one year validation time is counted from the time your doctor
signs it to the date when your I693 is recieved by USCIS.
The process of 485 will take years for EB23 and about a year for EB1 now. If
what you are saying is true, we should keep doing that while your 485 is
pending. This also applies to other documents such as passport validation
time.

That was what my doctor said. Somebody had to re-do the medical exam since
it was expired by the time his/her case was processed.
I don't guarantee whatever the result comes out to be though.

我已经file 140 pp,1周后我能知道我的结果。

You can go to your own PCP's place to blood-test those vaccines and get those vaccines done first. All other vaccines are just one shot, except MMR, which takes two shots with one month apart. If you have that yellow booklet when you left China, most likely you are fine, otherwise you can do the vaccine checking now, in case the MMR is needed.

Also, most of these vaccines are valid for 10 years. It's only the date that
the green card doctor signs the form should be 1 year before your 485 is
processed. So you can get the vaccines done much earlier, there's no problem
about that.

the green card doctor signs the form should be 1 year before your 485 is
processed. So you can get the vaccines done much earlier, there's no problem
about that.
