any one knows how to extend my driver license after I-140 approval?
I am in the process of getting I-140 approval and want to know what document
I need in order to extend my driver license (current expiration date is the
H1b expiration date)

一个房子seller agent advertise 30xx sqft, redfin上的public record data 是
28xx, 相差200+ sqft.
seller agent open house时问了她，回答说根据buider是30xx,说pubic record data会搞错的。
觉得很奇怪：如果是30xx sqft, 为什么seller不原意改一下，至少这样卖的时候价格可以多卖点?
还是可能有其他问题：加了什么建筑没有permit?
想下offer，但不知道那个面积是对的？

140和移民身份没有关系。
驾照延期，如果所在州要求严，你得拿新的身份证明(你的情况就是H1B，如果没有理解
错的话)。
移民身份，得等交了485，拿到EAD才可以。

也可以看看周围一样的户型是多少sq ft,
我这个新的小区，一样的户型，county来量的能差1，200的。

俺们州，驾照跟着签证和EAD走。140啥也不是吧？如果用485收据，只给两周，或是两
月，忘了。我的理解是收到到新驾照就得考虑去跟新:)

我的理解也是要H1B Extend之后换驾照，或者有EAD的情况下拿EAD换。
但是每个州都不一样，有没有140给换的呢，谁也说不好。
反正也要延H1，等延了再换驾照吧，毕竟换驾照就是一上午的事。
俺下周也要去延驾照了

I-140 approval 一般不能用于extend DL。
H1B 延期批了之后（有些州需要DMV的database里有H1B延期的信息了才批），或者EAD
批了，可以拿这些document去延期。

county record 网上查了是 28xx sqft， 2.5 Bathroom
可是seller列了 30xx sqft, 3.5 Bathroom
去看的时候确实是3.5Bathroom,
房子前面有个孤立的小屋子，是不是这个没有permit啊？
没有的话会有啥影响阿？

我刚延了驾照，我的情况是H-1B 6年9/30/2014 到期，I-140 approved。H-1B的renew
还在RFE。
拿H-1B的receipt notice去DPS，告诉他们H-1B pending，他们会向homeland security
（DHS） verify。然后DHS在差不多一周的时间内回应，DPS会把信寄给你，你拿这
verification信去找DPS，我的驾照延续8个月。

you will have certain days to do all the investigations you want after you
have a deal with the seller. you then can hire someone to do a measurement
for you. country record sometime is incorrect due to many reasons.

data会搞错的。

This is a non-permit bath room.
Public record may make mistake. But it is impossible it has 2 mistakes (
sqft & room number) at the same time.
When you sell this house, others will ask you the same question.

我也是这样理解的，我在MD,不知道每个州规定是否相同。

No.
If it don't have permit, it is also impossible to get a new permit after you
build in bay area. Inspection should visit several times during
construction to check all safety/other standard points. And the new building
is more restrict than old one.

不知道延期要多久时间，延期拿到之前都只能不开车在家上班咯。

加州让补,但加了个房间或厕所, 拿到PERMIT的可能性很小. 过去盖的房间来满足新的
BUILDING　CODE，基本上是mission impossible.
另外，在ＣＩＴＹ　ＯＡＫＬＡＮＤ，　ＰＥＲＭＩＴ需要交整个项目总费用的１０％．

现在有点晕了：
实际房子是：3B/2.5B+detached小屋（1B/1B)=4B/3.5Bath, builder号称30xx sqft
county record 登记的是 4B/2.5Bath 28xx sqft
很奇怪的是:
number of bedrooms match，
number of bathrooms 多出来了一个
sqft 多出来了2xx sqft
这个可能是错误吗？
detached的小屋没有空调，可以算living sqft？怀疑bedroom算了，bathroom不算，
sqft不算。
另外，怎么样才能网上查到所有permit的rooms etc?

没有ＰＥＲＭＩＴ的原件，以ＣＯＵＮＴＹ　ＲＥＣＯＲＤ为准．
如果有ＰＥＲＭＩＴ的原件，　可以到ＣＯＵＮＴＹ去申请纠正．

从谁那儿可以看到/拿到permit的原件？

SELLER.
SELLER没有证据你就假设没有.SELLER/LISTING AGENT说什么都没用.你说有,拿证据,去
CITY/COUNTY找证据.

查到了,挺奇怪的:
1. The detached office in front of the house is included in the construction
permit
2. There is a code "D30 3080 Dwelling Type V-Wood Frame $84 $258,720", and
that indicates the frame contained area is 3080 sqft.
3. However, the OFFICIAL county recorder office document shows the area is
2862 sqft

4. Why is there no number of rooms/bathroom in the permit? The permit only
comment "Plan 1X Includes Detached Office".
想查去清楚官方纪录的 (number of rooms, number of bathrooms, and sqft)为什么
不同,要去哪个department问?
