第一个SR是11月初做的，说pending for final review。刚才打电话对方说可以再做一
个SR，记录了详细理由，说我的case很有可能被expedite，因为已经等了6个月了。不
过higher level officer很冷淡，说现在他们只处理到3月29号，还要有2-3个月才能处
理我的case。我也懒得跟他说那么多了。
上周骚扰congressman和senator。只有senator的小蜜要我填了个破表，说会和uscis联
系，不过说他们不能强迫uscis做什么，反正过了一个多星期了也是什么消息也没有。
年内是没什么希望绿了。随便吧。

江西德安一宋墓近日出土我国目前最早粽子实物

近日，江西德安发现我国目前最早的粽子实物，这一发现通过了我国考古专家的严
格鉴定。
据介绍，江西德安义峰羽绒厂在这个县宝塔乡杨桥村向阳山修建水塔时，意外发现
一座宋墓。德安县博物馆工作人员立即进行了抢救性发掘。据宋墓石碑文字记载：墓主
周氏为宁国府通判国史溪园先生周应合之女，今武宁人，葬于公元１２７４年；丈夫为
新太平州通判吴畴，今德安县车桥人。
墓主右手拿一根长４０厘米的桃枝，桃枝上吊有两个棱形粽子。粽子，长６厘米，
宽３厘米分别系于桃枝两边，外皮为粽叶，苎麻捆扎。专家介绍：早期粽子有祭奠之意
，放入棺木中以示亲属的哀悼。两个粽子成双成对，象征吉祥如意。
江西省考古研究所研究员刘诗中会同中国考古学会、国家文物局专家鉴定委员会十
余名专家，经过严格的鉴定，确定这两个粽子是我国目前发现最早的粽子实物。(作者

same here. I filed my SR at the beginning of NOV. and got noticed that my
case still in a time period. Then asked my state senator for help. Nothing
feed back yet

senator小蜜回信，基本无望
Thank you for your patience as I looked into the status of you and your wife
's applications for permanent residence. I understand that you and your
wife submitted your applications at the end of June 2011, and visa numbers
are available for your applications. The office that is processing your
applications is currently making decisions on applications that were
submitted in March 2011. Unfortunately, they currently have a backlog of
applications, which has resulted in the delay you have been experiencing.
They have brought in additional officers to work overtime in an effort to
make final decisions on the backlogged applications as soon as possible.
At this time USCIS estimates that it will be approximately 30-60 days before
they are able to make finals decisions on you and your wife's applications.
While I understand your desire to obtain permanent resident status as
quickly as possible I am unable to expedite your applications at this time
as it would be unfair to the applicants who have already been waiting even
longer to obtain decisions on their permanent residency applications. I
appreciate your understanding.
I will continue to check in with USCIS in regards to their progress on your
applications and I will keep you informed of further updates I receive.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions in the
meantime.
