Please help with your comments.
I recently accepted a job offer (Job A) in the same company (2 weeks ago)
and verbally agreed to start the new job in Jun.
Just last week, another job (Job B) in the same company that i was actively
engaged for interviewing (since Feb) was available and the hiring manager
asked me if i was still interested w/o knowing that I accepted job a 2 weeks
ago. I was told that the delay of the process was due to HR system can't
post a position with new title that isn't recognized by the system, but now
it is fixed.
Personally, I like Job B since it aligns with my career path, but I dont
know how to tell Job A boss that I want to withdraw the job offer and start
with Job B. Job B boss was upset that I didnt give her enough time to
consider me amid she still views me the best candidate at this moment.
Job A and Job B are in the same company where I am currently employed with.
Both of managers (Job A boss is a SVP in the back office, and Job B boss is
an Executive VP in the front office where I want to get into) know my
current manager well and I dont want to burn bridge with either side at this
moment.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
