看哪儿大不就是看那儿大吗?还有啥?
浙江不是浙,江苏不是苏,安徽不是皖?
It's been just Canada since Confederation in 1867 when the name Canada was
adopted as the legal name for the new country, and Dominion was conferred as
the country's title (what type of country we were as opposed to a republic
or other type) Combined, the term Dominion of Canada was in common usage
until the 1950s however it was never an official term with legal standing.
As Canada asserted its political autonomy from the United Kingdom, the
federal government increasingly used simply Canada on state documents and
treaties, a change that was reflected in the renaming of the national
holiday from Dominion Day to Canada Day in 1982.
