We actually had one similar case but got rejected by lender even we provide receipt and HR letter for continuing employment. Lender's reason is that immigration is unpredictable and they can not process the loan till the final H1B is approved. But my case is that H1B already expired and lender request the H1B need to be valid at least 90 days by the time of funding. And borrower is using EAD. Try to find some lenders with minium H1B valid period by the time of funding . There are plenty of them. 6 months expiration is only the rule for this lender. Ask your agent to get the guidline for you for the lender they choose. It should be specified. Best luck!
