Plan A - if we have the luck to get the wave permits
5/22 (Thu) Departure in afternoon, dinner in Las Vegas, night stay in Kanab.
5/23 (Fri) Try our luck to get the next day Wave permits by lottery in the
morning at 9am, then go to Upper & Lower Antelope Canyon. Visit other places
if we still have time after Antelope Canyon.
5/24 (Sat) The Wave, approximate 6 miles, it is famous among hikers and
photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged,
5/25 (Sun) The Narrows, from the bottom up (the easiest way), approximate 5
miles round trip to reach the Orderville Canyon, 10 miles round trip to Big
Spring, Just go as far as we can.
5/26 (Mon) The Angel's Landing, approximate 5 miles round trip and 1500ft
elevation gain - almost the same hiking level as Echo Mountain (5miles round
trip & 1800ft elevation gain)
Go back to LA in the afternoon or evening.

Plan B - if we cannot get the Wave permits

5/25 - 5/26 (Sun - Mon) the West Rim Trail and the Angel's Landing -
BACKPACKING
5/25 from the Lava Point all the way down to Cabin Spring, approximate 10
miles. Night stay at Campsite #1, which offers distant views of the Dixie
National Forest and northern regiouns of Zion, wonderful landscape. Campsite
#1 is located in a nice grove of ponderosa pines and also has a great view
of sunrise!
5/26 finish up the remaining approximate 5 miles of the West Rim Trail. But
at the Scout's Lookout, we'll go up for 500ft elevation to the Angel's
Landing. Then back to the Grotto Trailhead.
Go back to LA in the afternoon or evening.

If you haven't had a plan for your memorial day long weekend, if you want to
enjoy the late spring and early summer, if you appreciate the beauty of
nature in wildfield, or if you try to reburn your moods with some fresh air
and doing some exercises, you are welcome to join us.
We are easy going and fun people. This travel team is recruiting 2 more
teammates with the abilities of driving and hiking. ^_^
