英语巨量vocabulary的产生有若干原因，这里只谈两点：英国历史上长期处于文化边缘
地带，造成了英美知识分子在很长时期内心极度自卑。他们给某个新概念命名时，喜欢
抛开自己的母语，寻找一个拉丁或希腊语字根改头换面，以此来炫耀自己的“博学”和
“正统”。
另外，中世纪的行会传统，使得各个行业的从业人员创造大量只有本专业的人才懂的“
黑话”，美其名曰“专业词汇”。就是故意为了让外行听不懂，以此来增强行业壁垒，
维持利益。
对于这一点，有一个笑话：香港在殖民时代，法庭使用英语。只见律师法官头戴假发、
念念有词，即便英语很好的人，也不知道他们到底在说什么。所以法庭气氛庄严肃穆，
听众鸦雀无声。回归祖国后，改用粤语，大家都能听懂了，结果无论原告、被告还是听
众，经常起哄发嘘：麻痹的原来你们一直是这样糊弄我们的啊！
其他的：英语还处于文言文时代，书面和口语相差巨大。大量繁琐多余的语法变形，都
是长期分裂封建制的遗毒。

汉字的韵母发音比日语丰富很多
日语可以的话汉字更可以

可以 [kaen] 我们 [wi:] 用[ju:s] 汉字[haenz] 去[tu] 写 [rait] 英语 [i:nglish]
