今天在娃的一本新版的娃版医学书上看到的，大意是说，
在 0 - 20 岁之间：
（注意是在 0 - 20 岁之间！！不是老态龙钟的岁月！！）：
1. 娃的大脑灰质是随年龄增大越来越少。
2. 经常使用的大脑灰质会从原生态变成牛鼻态。
3. 不用的大脑灰质会被大脑自己干掉，尸骨无存，并且此过程不可逆。
4. 这不仅影响智力，还影响情感。
俺开始不相信，然后回家立马查了 NIH-> NIMH 的官方网页。。。
我擦，确有其事，而且基本一字不差！！链接和摘要如下：

with the most basic functions, such as processing
the senses and movement. Areas involved in spatial
orientation and language (parietal lobes) follow.
Areas with more advanced functions — integrating
information from the senses, reasoning, and other
"executive" functions (prefrontal cortex) — mature last.
