不如这个笑话
Dear officer:
This is XX from XX writing you this letter with great pleasure. Here
I
would like to invite my parents-in-law to join my wedding with their
daughter. I am an American citizen. I have lived in USA for 12 years. Now I
own a retail store in XX. My wife is a Canadian permanent resident. We
married this summer in XX. I would like to have our wedding ceremony held
at
our home church, the Chinese XX Church in XX, and in the beginning of
February, when we celebrate the Chinese New Year. My father-in-law will
have
one month vacation for this Chinese holiday so that they both can come to
the US to witness their only and beloved daughter’s wedding.
It will be excited to show them our lives in US and to show them our newly
purchased house. Besides that, XX City is a city full of fun and excitement.
I also plan to take them to XX.
During their stay in United States, I will bear all responsibilities
including, financial responsibilities, travel expense within USA, medical
insurance, housing and food. I will personally make sure that they leave
United States before the expiration of their authorized stay. I will also
personally make sure that they will not become public charge on the part of
United States government.
I have a secure job and stable savings to support them during their stay in
the US.
They plan to stay with us for only about one month because my father-in-law
has to go back to work in early March, and my mother-in-law also has six
pet
cats that she cannot leave behind in China. Besides that, they have 3 real
estate properties in china that they need to take care of.
Marriage is a once for a life time event, and this is an event that needs
parents’ witness and blessing. We would really appreciate your courtesy
and
consideration. Your help will make our wedding complete.
Thank you and best regards!
Sincerely,
XX
