The last day to close according to the contract is Aug 6th (45 days after
the signing date). Now the seller wants to close on Aug 18th and refuse to
pay the extra charge that I have to pay to lock a 30-day rate instead of a
15-day rate. My buyer agent is pushing me to accept it and sign the
amendment.
But I really feel it is unfair for me. So I am wondering if this
constitutes a violation of the contract by the seller? What can I do?

靠！你们还有完没完了，整版的都是复旦抄袭，想看个笑话都看不清闲。天下文章一大
抄，干嘛专门和复旦过不去？（声明：老子不是复旦的）。

Seller just wants more time to pack and move their stuff. They are going to
close their new bought home on July 27th.

当然是unfair的。你可以拒绝签。要么seller rent back, 或者补偿你的extra
expense，或者两个agents去商量看谁愿意让点儿commission。当然你先要权衡的是谁
更不愿意break contract，我觉得如果你的seller那边有另一个contract，他一般不会
愿意break现在的contract。当然如果是卖方市场，或者买价确实挺好，你就让一点算
了，吃这点亏，搬进房子半年就忘到后脑去了。
