Amazon is under fire for allegedly mistreating delivery drivers
(CNN) - Amazon is under fire again for allegedly mistreating its workers.
Four ex-Amazon delivery drivers are suing the retail giant for withholding
wages, overtime, and benefits, as well as not allowing breaks.
The ex-workers, who were not directly employed by Amazon, are seeking back
pay.
Amazon has not responded to the lawsuit.
Back in August, a New York Times article portrayed Amazon as a brutal pace
to work.
The piece suggested that managers routinely weed out employees and encourage
backstabbing.
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos condemned the piece, saying the company is an
excellent place to work.
He also encouraged employees to email him directly to report questionable
management behavior.
