汗，区别这么大啊？整个面积0.3acres，除去房子和deck基本上全是草地。车道大约6-
10米之间。在新泽西只住了一个冬天，所以不知道是不是都像刚过去的这个冬天那样。
。。。。。

如果足有0.3 acres草地的话，至少上台流行的Honda HRX217HYA or HRX217HZA. 结实
耐用，自带动力推动，部件到处都有。轻松用10年以上。每次得花个近两小时剪。电动
的不太搞得定了。
想再节约点儿时间的话，上John Deere riding mower带上bagger attachment可以秋天
收树叶。每次剪草时间可以降到40分钟吧。如果上带零转弯功能的话，估计30分钟。
铲雪机手头不紧的话，上一台two-stage的呗。one-stage的要幸苦些，不过你家车道不
长，也可以对付。高大上的两个牌子是Honda和Husqvarna,中上等牌子的有Cub Cadet,
Ariens和Troy Bilt等。车道带坡度的话，买那种履带传动的。在入冬前（九月底、十
月初）有促销加折扣买一个最划算。另外在买一包Calcium Chloride和一两把轻便的雪
铲，机器铲不干净、铲不到的地方就靠它了。

days (the recycling rewards will expire within 180 days whether or not

铲雪机可能不需要那么强的，30 feet一般的小铲雪机可能就行，胳膊力气大，雪不是
太大的话，可能铲子就能搞定。

His suggestions are way overkill for your lot. If I read you post right,
you have a 0.3 acre lot, that's including the area taken up by the house and
deck, correct?
For that size, just go to a local HD/Lowe/Sears/Farm and Fleet or whatever
your local hardware store, get any of those mowers that's around $150 would
be good enough for you. It would take just half an hour to an hour at most
to mow your lawn.
As for snow blower, a single stage would work. 2 stage blower works much
better. But it's heavy, large, and expensive. You should use a simpler one
for a few years, get used to performing the maintenance before investing
more. Also, shoveling snow is great exercise, and fun activity for the kids
. So you should still give that a try. I shoveled my drive way for 8 years
before give in to wife's nagging for a snow blower.

即使是0.1 acres的草地，上一台Honda的割草机你是不会后悔的。其它的烂机子打不着

For a mower to work well over long period of time, you will have to maintain
it diligently. Otherwise, even if it's a Honda, it will break down just
like the much cheaper mowers. Honda mower's blade won't cut the grass any
better if you never clean and sharpen it either. But if you do maintain the
engine and the blade, the cheaper mowers will also give you many years of
excellent service, and at 1/2 - 1/4 the price.
