I fail to understand how an $800 crappy gadget can be a deal.

not all of them are deals... some of them are just ads...

Even half price at $400, I still think it is an expensive gadgets.

800 freaking dollars for a vacuum?! The only way I'll purchase it, if it
able to works 60 years without any problem, can it?

People fail to understand what might seem outrageous to them, could be worth
it for another. If the household income is well above six-figures and time
is the most precious commodity, the yes, $800 for a robot vacuum is not too
bad. And yes, even rich people like deals.

Rich people don't come to dealsea. Forget it.

If the household income is well above 6 figures they don't buy a crappy $800
"deal" toy vac - because they have a big house and such a toy is useless.
Instead, hire someone to clean the house every 2 weeks or every month. Only
ppl who buy $800 toy vacs are people who *think* they are rich and that
their time is so important... Or just want to show-off to their hipster
friends.

^^well said. I did buy a $400 roomba back in the day and it worked fine in
an open floor plan 1800sq ft home. But $800? Come on. If you've got that
kind of money then you've got a bigger home than one of these can handle.

我觉得马甲的倡议非常好啊,应该把这个破玩意弄开源,然后写一个人机界面,让用户
