I accidently used an old Macy's credit card opened in another state back in
2 years ago, and I missed the payment statement (possibly due to address
change). I finally get a letter from collection agent, and paid the total
about ~$50. But then it impacted my credit score very badly. Macy's refused
to remove this. Is there any way to get back my precious credit score?

I had same experience before, late for 3 months, and discovered when I
buying a house. Couldn't solve it since the credit card company wouldn't
remove it. Need several month or one year to get better, mine change from
650-780 in one year.

Agree, No More Macy Credit Card! Their credit card customer service is very
unfriendly.
