刚才问了下保险公司，说under some medical condition 的保险可以cover 100%
brest pump的费用，但接电话的人不能细说什么condition,只说需要医生出证明，保险
公司需要审核才行。
有没有姐妹用自己保险买过pump的，一般什么情况可以报销？

在L家工作了一阵子，真的毫无怨言，真的算不错了。
可是美国是真的呆不下去了。不要说湾区有多安全，论繁华不如纽约，论落后不如南部
。两个极端都有各种恶性犯罪，很难让我相信一个中间值的地方就安全。黑人抢劫华人
的原因，转移到码农身上又有什么难的呢。
今天和一个国内BAT的同学聊，觉得国内虽然有些埋没码农，但是基本的尊严还在，以
后也有创业的机会，关键是能好好活着。以后有了孩子，让他在四线城市的家乡一个重
点中学里混个中流，以前感觉这种人生挺失败的，现在觉得超满足，至少一家子都还活
着。
以后如果生了女儿，她从小学开始谈男朋友我都不管了，至少是和男的，至少是和中国
人，再索的男也是中国人。真的，我觉得这样就挺幸福了。

LZ是什么保险公司? 我是BCBS. 可以生之前让大夫开证明还是必须得等到生了之后呢?

我的是cigna,跟什么保险公司没有关系，主要看policy.应该是生了之后才能出证明巴
，没生哪来的奶啊。没生可以提前向医生咨询下。

我是upmc health plan,在产检时跟医生说想要一个泵奶的，就给开了一个处方，生后
第二天给保险公司打电话说想要一个泵，他就把电话转到另一个地方，问了一些基本信
息，就是住哪里之类的，没有问为什么需要，然后在出院当天就有人送到家了,100%

we are using BCBS. When I was around 36 weeks, I asked my doctor for a
prescription. And then I purchased a breast pump from the vendor specified
by the insurance company. I got the pump about one month before the due date
. And it is 100% covered.

Yes, I called the insurance company first, asking for all the terms. They
told me it would be covered as long as I have the doctor's prescription and
also provided me a list of in-network vendors. I can choose any breast pump
from the in-network vendor. So I picked the most expensive one. :)
Then I told my OB that I need to go back to work two month after the
delivery and a breast pump is definitely necessary. My OB wrote a
prescription for me. Then I called the vendor, faxed the prescription and
the vendor processed the insurance for me.

谢谢姐妹提醒，我刚给保险打过电话（BCBS HMO），他们说可以，不用prescription，
直接买了找他们报，也可以从医院要一个。忘了问有没有价格上限，那些配套的附件（
比如奶瓶）包不包括？哪里能找到这样的信息？

我是BSBC PPO，曾经问过保险公司，说是凡在OTC可以买到的东东，都不可以报，包括
pump。
有相同保险的姐妹得到cover的经验吗？

我也是bcbs ppo的，保险公司100%cover breast pump 如果从他们指定的供应商买。不
需要医生的prescription，也不需要等到生了之后，现在就可以买。他们还给我了我in
-network provider的名字。
