每天一回家，进卧室就闻到heater附近一股gas的味道，不是很大，但很明显，跟
landlorder反映后，他们说检查了没闻到气味。
这个heater比较奇怪，把温度调到70华氏以上就闻不到气味，估计gas都完全燃烧了吧
，但是要调到70度以下，几分钟后就能问到gas味道，完全关闭heater也能闻到味道，
有什么仪器可以测一下啊？不想在家里吸毒啊。谢谢。

call the gas company to check, it is free. Most likely it is the gas heat
exchanger that
has a crack. If so, it is not recommended to fix but replace. It it is used
in rental property, buy 80% efficient heater for about $2000-$4000
depending on the house size. if it is used for primary residential, buy 95%
energy efficient heater for about $5000+.
Cal state law requires every home to have carbon monoxide detector, one per
each level. get one for about $30 from home depot.

Just read that you are in a rental house. Do not call land lord, call gas
company to come over and check. They will put a red tag on it so that it
cannot be used anymore if leaking gas, and landlord will have to fix it
because you cannot live without heat.

这儿用的都是Natural Gas, CO Alarm 没用的。

If gas heat exchanger has crack, gas will not burn completely in the furnace
hence CO will leak out, which is very dangerous. suggest to call gas
company ASAP and put red tag on it for land lord to fix.
For now, before the gas company comes, you can turn off the gas yourself,
the valve is right next to the furnace, normally on the left side, turn to
vertical to close gas.
Also, inform land lord of what you are going to do, in case he/she has
different opinion to fix it. Be nice to the land lord, he/she is not your
enemy but your land lord providing a place for you to live. Do not turn any
issues against the land lord and behave like he/she owns you for appliance
fault.

叫房东修，我的房东找cooper brothers给我修了两次，第一次就密封一下，我觉得还
有漏气，第二次换了个零件，现在好多了，基本闻不到了

你可以在管道接口抹点肥皂水
如果没有吹泡泡，就说明彻底好了
