How will LSAC report undergraduate GPA?# Law - 律师事务所

I am going to apply for law schools, all of them require to send my
undergraduate transcript to lsac? My grade is not high (about 70), but the
course are tough, I think I am still higher than most of my classmates, but
I am just worried how the LSAC will report our undergraduate GPAs? will it
change it to GPA format and it will look bad?
Did anyone have any experience about this? thank you very much.

I don't have experience myself. But from some articles I read, for
internationl students, GPA does not play a role as important as for US
students. It's reasonable since there is usually no comparable parameter,
for example, my university in China does not offer grades like A+ as here
does.
In another words, for international students, getting a high lsat score and/
or an advanced degree may be more important than your GPA. Hope that helps.

Maybe you've already known this..
LSAC will process the translated transcript your Chinese university provides
. They have their own standard to figure out the credit and grade of each
course. In my case, my university report the score in A/B/C/D/Pass. So they
may just simply take that and make it 4.0/3.0 and so on. I haven't got my
report yet, although the LSAC received the transcript from China 3 weeks ago.
Good luck!

Good luck. Send the transcipt to LSAC from your undergraduate school and
take it easy. It is kind of late if you are applying for the next Fall, but
you still have great chance of getting it evaluated before the end of
December.
In my case it takes 4 weeks for my transcript to get evaulated, so be
prepared for the long wait.
