先说明，我不是读jd的。
这个版里头，真正愿意讨论问题的人实在太少了。要说解答初级人的问题，就更别指望了
。
要我说，反正这个gpa是你无法改变的事实，就只有live with it。人家对gpa有多看重也
不是你能决定的。你唯一有主动权的就是把lsat给考高点，然后就申被，录不录的再说。
另外你这个虽然不是特别好，估计top50肯顶也有比你还差的人。

Folks, you don't need a 170 to get into a top 50 law school. To my knowledge,
160 is enough. In addition, since you come from a country using different
grading-system, your GPA will not be valued as the same as the guys who did
their undergrad in the States.So don't worry. And 3.4 is pretty good anyway.

Yeah. I have a friend who scored about 160 and got the admission to UPenn. She
didn't go there though because it was way more expensive---the most important
is that she still got a good job after law school.
But that was a while ago. Since there seems to be a lot more Chinese students
applying, I don't think 160 is good enough for top 10 anymore, unless you have
something else very shinning. As an American student, 160 is still good
enough. But each school will only recruit one to a few Chinese

different people may have different views of this board. but i would
be very dissappointed should it become a law school application board or
from-phd-to-jd board.

reasons for people not posting here re application are:
1) too small a sample space -- it's too case specific
2) lack of time
3) the 'no free lunch' mentality -- at least the questions should indicate
that the poster has done minimum due dilligence.
application, among other things, is where you just have to give your best shot
and take what you can get, no use spending time speculating what will happen.

You have to admit that you are a little bit too cynical. You have a deep
misconception of Chinese law students. Most of the people I know are extremely
nice and helpful.

意见不同可以讨论，何必这么出口伤人呢？你也知道他智商绝不会比你低。
这个版本来人气就够弱了，otheme坚持来这时不时post点信息。
你都给这个版带来了什么？发了两个贴子，一个有甚一个。
